Trips to Mexico are always fun with a buddy, but are they just as fun as a single-player? We’ll have to wait for that answer, but in the meantime, you can watch this latest trailer for Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel.

For those unaware, this third game in the series takes place in Mexico, with the Mexican Drug War as a backdrop. It follows two new T.W.O operatives, Alpha and Bravo, as they go up against a cartel called La Guadaña, or “The Scythe” in English.

Personal feelings about the trailer: Looks like it’ll be a decent shooter, but the writing looks a bit dodgy, and I’m not sure they’re making the most of the Mexican Drug War theme. I’m not sure I’ll say it’s flat-out distasteful, but come on EA; there’s a ton of promising story material here. Add some emotion and depth to the game that goes beyond fist-bumping.

The game makes its way onto shelves on March 26, 2013. Stay tuned for more news on the title here at OnlySP.
