Bohemia Interactive has announced their plans for the single-player campaign of ArmA III. The mode will not be released along with the official game launch, instead Bohemia will release the campaign as three free DLC episodes in the following months.
The first of the three episodes, Survive, will be released within a month of ArmA III‘s release. After that the following two, Adapt and Win, will be launching in the month that follow.
According to Project Lead Joris-Jan van’t Land: “This was not a decision we made lightly. As game creators, we love developing and playing through campaigns so, to those awaiting ours, we say: sorry for the delay.” Check out the official blog post for more information.
Arma III will be released in Q3 of 2013, exclusively for the PC.
