Who would have thought a few years ago that one day, Batman would star in not one but, two excellent games in the span of just two years. It looks as if another title by Rocksteady is on its way, and this time around DC is planning to expand the game’s world to include their other superheroes.

A source has recently told Variety that Warner Bros. is already laying down the blue print for the next game is the Arkham series, which is to be set in the “silver age” of DC comics and will involve Batman first meeting Joker. Being that it’s set around the time the Justice League was being formed in the comics, fans were told that they can expect to see many DC superheroes in the game besides Batman. Mark Hamil will not be reprising his role as Joker, and the project is currently aiming for a 2014 release, so you best keep collecting issues of Green Lantern to occupy yourself till then.

With the recent comic reboots of several DC characters and Injustice: Gods Among Us on its way, it seems DC has big plans to get the Justice League off the ground. Really, who can blame them? We’ve seen how big The Avengers was.
