Arizona Derby

Indie outfit Falcon Interactive is looking to bring back the offroad racing experience with the upcoming Arizona Derby.

The developer announced the game will be available via Steam Early Access come this June. If that date is correct, Arizona Derby should remain in the program for approximately three months, with Falcon Interactive aiming for a full release in September.

While rally-based racing experiences have prevailed in recent years, Arizona Derby looks further back for its inspiration, seeming akin to Motorstorm or the MX vs. ATV series thanks to its exaggerated physics.

Both the Early Access and full release will include six locations, ranging from arctic landscapes to tropical beaches, although the former will include only half of the 72 tracks of the latter. The other major difference between the two versions will be the progression mechanics.

Otherwise, anyone who buys the Early Access version gets full access to vehicle customisation and purchasing options.

Coinciding with the arrival of the Steam store page, Falcon Interactive has dropped a 16-minute-long trailer, showing off one full race, alongside some of the other environments included in Arizona Derby.
