Panache Digital Games has announced that Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 6.

Publisher Private Division (a subsidiary of Take-Two) has wasted no time in bringing the game to the console player base, after releasing the title on PC in August.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is available for pre-order now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for USD$39.99

The evolution-based survival game allows players to guide a clan of primates through humankind’s journey.

OnlySP’s Rebecca Hills-Duty gave the title a credit rating in her review of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey on PC and said, “The game has a lot of depth to uncover and problems to overcome,” while criticising the high difficulty”

Ancestors has been on many gamers’ radars since Patrice Dèsilets unveiled his project at The Game Awards 2018. Dèsilets left Ubisoft after the release of Assassins Creed Brotherhood, and founded Panache Digital Games shortly afterwards.
