Finally.

Krillbrite’s first game, Among the Sleep, will be coming to the PS4 the Playstation Blog confirmed today. The game will also be the first project on the PS4 to fully explore Project Morpheus, however, the blog didn’t exactly go into detail on that.

If you’ve never heard about Among the Sleep before, be sure to read our exclusive interview with the development team to learn more about what the game is all about. There’s also a demo available via Steam if you want to try the game out for yourself, but be warned, it’s quite intense.

Ole Andreas, the CEO of Krillbrite had this to say about bringing the project over to the PS4:

As a young and small indie studio from the northern outskirts of Europe, working on our first big project ever, this feels incredible. We’ve always wanted to explore the game medium, and maybe even contribute towards making it a more diverse place, but we did not expect the project to receive this much positive response. Lately we’ve also slowly started to realize we’re getting close. That the game is really shaping up, and we’re approaching the end. We want as many people as possible to be able play Among the Sleep when it’s released in the not-so-distant future, so I guess it’s no better time to announce that Among the Sleep will also be coming to PS4!

Finally, if you’re one of our Kickstarter backers, don’t worry — we’re working on a plan to ensure you get a fair deal on the PS4 version of the game. More details to follow.

The release date for Among the Sleep should be announced soon, so be sure to follow OnlySP on Twitter and Facebook for all the latest news on Among the Sleep and other upcoming single player titles.
