Frictional Games, is returning for Amnesia: Rebirth, the third installment in the popular series.
Amnesia remains a staple of the horror genre since releasing in 2010 on PC and eventually on console years later. An indirect sequel to the game was released by The Chinese Room in 2013 subtitled A Machine for Pigs. Frictional Games remained as the publisher for the sequel but has returned as developer for Rebirth.
The franchise became famous for pitting players against unwinnable odds with an unstoppable foe in the midst of complicated puzzles. Rebirth sees players take the role of Tasi Trianon as she attempts to survive the Algerian desert.
Frictional Games has released a trailer and several images to celebrate the title’s announcement and release window. Rebirth will release in Autumn 2020 on PC and PlayStation 4.
