Hey, I called that one… well, the month I did.

SEGA and The Creative Assembly announced today at EGX Razzed that Alien: Isolation will be releasing on October 7th, 2014. The development team had a few words to say about the announcement in a press release sent out to the press.

“We couldn’t be happier to finally announce a date for Alien: Isolation,” said Alistair Hope, Creative Lead at Creative Assembly. “The reaction we have seen so far has been simply incredible, from the screams and shrieks to the cold sweats and racing hearts. It’s the Alien game that we’ve always wanted to play and we can’t wait to let everyone get their hands on it this fall.”

From all that we’ve seen, read and heard about so far, Alien: Isolation is looking to be the definitive Alien experience. I firmly believe that fans will have a lot to look forward to this October when the game releases.
