The first trailer for Alien: Isolation has been released to the public, and for those of you disappointment by the sham that was Colonial Marines, I think you should certainly check this out.

Below you will find the first trailer/gameplay for Alien: Isolation. The game, as rumored, features Amanda Ripley, daughter of Ellen Ripley as she searches for the Nostromo’s Black Box to find out what exactly happened to her mother. The game is described as a return to classic survival horror. Ripley will constantly be tracked down by a single Xenomorph, and will take its time hunting you. The game will not focus on jump scares to keep you on your toes, but more of a constant feeling that you’re being watched. We’ll have plenty more details to share with you later on in the day as we work on a full first details article.

We’ll go into much more detail about the game later in the day, but for now, check out the trailer below.

Oh, and the best part about this game? It’s Only Single Player.

Alien: Isolation will release on PS4, Xbox One, PC and current-gen consoles in the latter portion of the year.

  1. Okay… that looks amazing, for the most part. I really, really hope that what is shown here is what the game primarily consists of because I utterly despise the idea of battling it out against clones and other such malarky that just does not fit with the Alien mythos. Get it right, CA.
