If you’ve been camping outside Remedy Entertainment’s HQ all this time hoping they’d eventually utter the words “Alan Wake coming to PS3”, then sadly you may want to consider packing up and heading home (to buy the recently released Steam version).

There was a recent interview conducted by Electronic Theatre with Remedy and it’s pretty long, but here’s the message that franchise head Oskari Häkkinen said regarding the series on PS3: “Alan Wake as a franchise will never come to PS3. Hopefully that’s not your headline but for everyone that’s pretty obvious. It’s something we would never consider for the Alan Wake franchise.”

How ironic, as it really is the headline right now. In any case, that’s the final word. Alan Wake won’t be shining his light on the PS3 in the forseeable future.

What do you think, single-players? Is this disheartening, or do you feel that the 360 should keep its exclusive games in order to stand out?
