Fans of Saints Row and cybernetic humans will be thrilled with two new characters being included in Volition’s upcoming title, Agents of Mayhem.

Joining the chaotic Saints Row universe, or rejoining in one character’s case, are Lazarus and Johnny Gat.

Lazarus is half woman, half machine, and represents the epitome of human evolution. This mechanical agent will face many enemies who challenge her for superiority as she dedicates herself to humanity’s protection. Lazarus is a character who is exclusive to those who pre-order digital copies of Agents of Mayhem.

In addition, returning to the Saints Row universe is a fan favorite, the ever-hilarious and abrasive Johnny Gat. Fans of the Saint’s Row series will remember that Johnny Gat was killed in Saints Row: The Third, but was discovered to actually be alive in Saints Row IV, and is a playable character in Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell. Johnny Gat will be a playable character in Agents of Mayhem for gamers who pre-order Agents of Mayhem at Gamestop.

Agents of Mayhem is an upcoming open-world, action-adventure video game set in the Saints Row universe. The game is being developed by the same company that produced Saints Row, Volition. The game takes place in a futuristic version of Seoul, South Korea, and is played from a third-person perspective. Unlike most of the Saints Row series, Agents of Mayhem will allow players to choose between several different playable characters, each with their own personalities and preferences for causing chaos. The game takes place after the “recreate Earth” ending of Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, an expansion to Saints Row IV. Agents of Mayhem is being published by Deep Silver.

The Saints Row spin-off is scheduled to release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on August 15 and August 18, 2017 in North America and Europe respectively.
