Finally. We finally have a release date for Three One Zero’s upcoming space survival adventure game, ADR1FT.
Adam Orth revealed the news on Twitter today following the pre-order opening announcement for the Oculus Rift. ADR1FT will be launching on both Oculus Rift and Steam on March 28th according to the tweet. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will follow “shortly after.”
Here’s the story synopsis for the game if you’ve never head of it:
ADR1FT is an immersive First Person Experience (FPX) that tells the story of an astronaut in peril. Floating silently amongst the wreckage of a destroyed space station with no memory and a severely damaged EVA suit, the only survivor struggles to determine the cause of the catastrophic event that took the lives of everyone on board. The player fights to stay alive by exploring the wreckage for precious resources, and overcomes the challenges of an unforgiving environment to repair the damaged emergency escape vehicle and safely return home.
Since ADR1FT is also releasing for PlayStation VR, I’m wondering if that’s an indicator that Sony’s VR platform isn’t too far off from release either. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Stay tuned for further updates on ADR1FT as it nears its release date. Also, keep in mind the game releases one day after my 21st birthday, so if you’re thinking about getting me an Oculus Rift, I already love you. (Editor’s Note: Don’t hold your breath.)
