Asobo Studio has announced a new development achievement for its anticipated adventure game A Plague Tale: Innocence.
Focus Home Interactive and Asobo Studio announced that primary development has now been completed on A Plague Tale: Innocence, meaning the game has been sent to manufacturers for eventual distribution.
Players take the role of Amicia as she and her younger brother set out on a journey across the countryside following the slaughter of their parents. During this quest, the pair must avoid both the plague-carrying rats and members of the Inquisition, but have the ability to turn these two obstacles against one another at points.
A Plague Tale: Innocence was selected as one of OnlySP’s most anticipated titles of 2019, in which Sebastian Young wrote that it “looks gorgeous and aims to offer a dark, foreboding experience.”
The game will be available on May 14, 2019, for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Pre-orders are currently available, and come with alternative outfits for the characters.
