Following the award-winning MIND: Path to Thalamus‘ success on PC, Mac, Linux and VR, Carlos Coronado has been working in a new project which is available now. Annie Amber has been designed from the ground up as a completely virtual reality experience.

When the flame of the life goes out slowly our more intense memories blooms more alive than ever in our mind. Solve the puzzles of the game to unlock Annie Amber memories and discover through her life experience who she is.

Why in the Solar System? Was she alone? Did she find love? All this questions will be answered once the player progresses through the game using just the head with an innovative locomotion system and game mechanics. This is not an on-rails experience, you move and interact with the environments at your own pace.

According to the development team, an attempt was made for a control scheme that does not require external devices like a gamepad, which they believe removes the player from the experience.

“Looking around the environment is all you will need to move and interact with it,” the developer stated. “As a consequence, the user is so much immersed in the experience that forgets about the world around him, being a perfect product to any public, and specially indicated to get started in VR and videogames.”

Annie Amber is available on GearVR for $7.99 and will soon be available on other VR platforms.
