Ion Maiden

Ion Maiden, an FPS in the vein of classic’s like Duke Nukem, is making its way to consoles.

3D Realms has announced that it is collaborating with 1C entertainment to bring the title to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in Q2 2019. Additionally, Ion Maiden will release both digitally and physically for all platforms.

Check out the reveal trailer down below.

3D Realms is responsible for Duke Nukem as well as others such as Shadow Warrior and Blood. Ion Maiden was developed as a successor to FPS classics of old and offers old-school gameplay with a new coat of paint.

On top of today’s news, the developer has revealed that it has a new project it is working on as well. Little is currently known about the unannounced project.

For him, gaming doesn’t get much better than Metal Gear Solid and Super Mario Sunshine. Though he is a die-hard Nintendo fan, he grew up on PlayStation.
